I like to be happy, how about you?

Does it sound silly asking that question?

It may be silly, but this question could make or break your physical health status. I'm not joking.

Happy people tend to be more healthy this is what I have noticed. I thought that a person who was healthy had to be happy, and that was the basic reason for this connection, later on I became more convinced that happiness and a positive attitude are the key to a good health.

The experiment which I am doing is with a single habit related to happiness that seems to have an amazing healing power. This little habit or thing is done by everyone from time to time but not regularly, has been proved to heal many life threatening conditions.

What is this habit?

Laughter is the habit we are talking about.

I do use a simple laughter exercise in my migraine and headache program which immediately sooths headaches. It prevents the oxygen deprivation in the brain. Laughter is not just relaxing, but a lift to your spirit. It also has several physical effects that are extremely healing.

Laughter does relaxes your muscles. While laughing the muscles around your breathing passages relaxes, so laughing before going to sleep can help improve snoring and sleep apnea. Anyone who is suffering from TMJ should laugh as it relaxes the jaw muscles. Even your body sends out natural pain relief hormones while laughing.

Anxiety can be relieved through laughter. Any type of conditions, partly or totally caused by anxiety can be completely healed by laughter.

A couple visited me for a session a few years back. The person was suffering from erectile dysfunction which was probably physical, I did prescribed certain exercises to follow and they began to see the progress and there sex life became better.

But after three weeks , the problem was still persisting. I saw that they were taking the matter very seriously. They did have a big sense of fear that he would be soft.

I did tell them to loosen up and make some types of jokes and laugh whenever this problem occurs. The lady was very supportive and she immediately got into it. When the next time it happened. She did make a comment (which wouldn't be proper to repeat on a public blog) that made them roar with laughter.

Believe me, they never had an erectile problem afterwards. The same approach did work out with many other clients who were suffering from premature ejaculation. Never take it so seriously, just joke and laugh.

Laughter is the best relaxation medicine and it beats any medication i have known. Anyone suffering from blood pressure needs to laugh as it is very essential to relax.

A friend of mine is a cancer specialist in Austria and has double the success rate than any other doctor in the country. The secret is that he regularly gets a group of his clients to talk about their cases. This is called the relaxed group therapy. He begins each session by going around and having everyone tell him their favorite joke.

So, laugh and let the world also to laugh with you, and you will feel much more relaxed both mentally and physically.
