ISP's are providing faster Internet speeds these days, so frequently checking your connection from time to time with an Internet speed test will show you how fast your connection may be. Unfortunately, not all ISP's provide speed tests so finding an accurate one can be tough. Most "Free" Internet speed tests aren't really free as they may want your email address, or even worse try to install spyware onto your computer slowing it down even worse. Worst still is most require some form of payment before they actually provide the speed test at all. If you happen to be lucky enough to find one that doesn't contain spyware, you still have to worry about if it actually works right. Finding one that works properly can take alot of time as well. 70% of Americans use at least 1 ISP. At least 60% have cable Internet. 86% of Americans use an ISP that doesn't provide an Internet speed test. If you're like me, I would like to check my connection speed when ever I want to without having to pay just to test it. Raising a family is expensive, so why blow hard earned money for something as simple as an Internet speed test? Finding a decent speed test can be a quite a chore. Once you find one though you can save it and check your ISP's speed when ever you want. Keeping tabs on your Internet speed may show you when your connection is the fastest as well as the slowest. Allowing you the freedom to choose when to use your service to its fullest potential. Take care, Thomas Haddelin
